Voxa is a browser-based, pay-as-you-go international calling service. It lets you call supported landlines and mobile numbers directly from a modern web browser, without installing calling software or subscribing to a monthly calling plan.
Yes. Voxa connects calls to supported ordinary telephone numbers, including landlines and mobiles. The person you call does not need a Voxa account, an app, a smartphone, or an internet connection.
No. Voxa runs in a modern web browser using WebRTC. Sign in, allow microphone access, enter the full international number, review the current rate, and start the call.
Calls use prepaid credit and are billed at the published per-minute rate for the destination and number type. Mobile and landline rates can differ. Check the current rate before calling on the Voxa rates page or in the dialer.
No mandatory monthly calling plan is required. Add prepaid credit when needed and pay for the calls you make. Your credit remains available while your account is active, subject to the current Voxa terms.
Normal calls are billed for connected call time. If the destination never answers and the call does not connect, there is no connected-call duration to bill. Separate services, such as phone-verification attempts, may have a disclosed fixed charge.

Quality depends on your internet stability, latency, Wi-Fi conditions, microphone or headset, browser, and the destination carrier. A stable connection and a headset generally provide the best experience.
Caller ID depends on the number selected in your Voxa account, verification status, destination, and carrier support. Caller ID delivery cannot be guaranteed on every international route because receiving carriers may modify or suppress it.
Signaling and audio between your browser and Voxa’s communications infrastructure are encrypted using standard web and WebRTC protections. Calls that continue over the public telephone network are not end-to-end encrypted across the entire route.
